Obituary for Dora Mae "Sis" D.D." Wilson
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Dora Mae “Sis” “D.D.” Wilson, 75, of East Liverpool passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Dora was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 13, 1946. She liked playing cards and playing games with her family. Dora was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Preceding Dora in death was her father Elmer Penny; mother Georgetta (Crooms) Cowart; brother Sonny Penny and sister Doris Benton.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Matt Wilson and his wife Sheri Curran of East Liverpool; daughter Katrina Brown and her husband Larry of Milwaukee, WI; six grandchildren Sharnae Wilson of East Liverpool, Adrianna Wilson of Mississippi, Ashton Brown of Mississippi, Ashley Reed and her husband Deandre of Mississippi, Christopher Chavis of East Liverpool and Dwain Brown of Mississippi and 15 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evangelist Rico Brown of Virginia Avenue Church of Christ will conduct a funeral service Friday 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calcutta U.P. Cemetery.
