East Liverpool, Ohio- Doris Jean Salsberry, 78, of St. Clair Avenue passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:48 p.m. at the UPMC–Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania following a brief illness.
Born May 10, 1941 in East Liverpool, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Virginia Rose Carnes Wright. A lifetime resident of the area, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rogers Church of Jesus Christ.
Her husband, Harold T. “Hank” Salsberry, whom she married May 10, 1959, preceded her in death on August 9, 2007.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Salsberry at home; and two sons, Steve Salsberry, Sr. and his wife, Tiffany of East Liverpool and Kevin Salsberry and his wife, Patty of East Liverpool.
There are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by one sister, Martha Raizor Stacey of Frankfurt, Kentucky; and three brothers, Allen Wright and his wife, Carolyn of Mountain View, Arkansas, Ed Wright and his wife, Roberta of East Liverpool and Joe Wright of Chillicothe, Ohio.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Ronald Boyd of the church will officiate a funeral service on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Longs Run Cemetery.
