Dorothy M. McConnell, 92

CALCUTTA – Dorothy M. McConnell, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday morning, December 23, 2017, at the Calcutta Health Care Center. She was 92.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, March 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Owen P. and Hazel Wilson. She worked at Presswell Cleaners at one time.

Her husband, Harry R. McConnell, preceded her in death. The couple married September 14, 1946. She was also preceded in death by a brother Alvin Skeens and a grandson Brian L. McConnell.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff L. McConnell and his wife, Diane, of Vermont, and Dennis E. McConnell and his wife, Sarah, of Lisbon.

There are five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Services were completed by the Dawson Funeral Home.
