Obituary for Eileen E. "Mickey" Tice (McNear)

Eileen “Mickey” Tice, 90

EAST LIVERPOOL – Eileen “Mickey” Tice, of Fisher Road, passed away Wednesday morning, March 27, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after suddenly taking ill. She was 90.

Born in East Liverpool, July 28, 1928 she was a daughter of the late James and Ellen Steenson McNear. A lifetime area resident, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1946. A homemaker, mother and grandmother, she was Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. “Bill” Tice on April 20, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James C. “Elmo” McNear.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Gibbs and her husband, Bruce and Janice Dickey and a son, Bill Tice and his wife, Karen, all of East Liverpool. There are three grandchildren: Jessica Kinsey and her husband, Zack, Jason Dickey and Evan Tice, as well as a son-in-law David Dickey and many nieces and nephews.

Pastor Larry Rose conducted a private family funeral service Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial was at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
