Obituary for Emerson R. Frye
Emerson R. Frye, 71
EAST LIVERPOOL – Emerson R. Frye, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday morning, August 11, 2022, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. He was 71.
Born in Wellsville, February 3, 1951, he was a son of the late Emerson W. and Naomi Monroe Frye. At one time, he worked in the maintenance department at Mountaineer Resort. Previously, he worked at the former TS&T China. He loved motorcycles, fishing and family cookouts.
He is survived by his companion, Rose A. Carson, at home. He also is survived by three sisters, Marcella “Marcy” Hicks, Altha “Genny” McLaughlin and Betty Smith and five brothers, Dave, George, Homer, Kenny and Lloyd Frye.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by family members: Gerri Ann Neil, Hazel Chaney, Lloyd Frye, Jimmy Frye, Helen Frye, Dave Frye, Terry Frye, Robert Frye, Irene Andric, Ruby Desoro, Betty Channey, and Roy Monroe.
Evangelist Rico Brown will conduct a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens at a later date.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
