Mrs. Frances Talkington Lee, 65

NOLENSVILLE, TENN - Mrs. Frances Talkington Lee, formerly of East Liverpool, passed from her earthly home and entered her home in Heaven on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee following a lengthy illness. She was 65.

Born in East Liverpool, June 20, 1950, she was a daughter of E. Deane Talkington of East Liverpool and the late Estella Rebecca “Becky” Grimm Talkington. She was a member of the Beaver Local High School Class of 1968 and continued her education at Trevecca Nazarene University. A lifelong educator, she was loved by her students and regarded as an excellent teacher at the Metro Davidson County Schools in the Nashville area for 31 ½ years. A faithful follower of Christ, she was a former member of the East Liverpool Church of the Nazarene and had been attending the Brentwood Baptist Church in Tennessee.

Frances made friends wherever she went. Her kind and gentle spirit will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Lee on January 9, 2005. The couple married October 20, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law Gary Sullivan.

She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Michelle Lee of Navarre, Florida and Amanda Robarge and her husband, Don, of Nolensville, as well as two sisters, Ruth Sullivan of East Liverpool and Sara Pitcock and her husband, Walt, of Chester, and a step-mother Barbara Talkington of East Liverpool.

She also leaves her four nephews: Jared and Cliff Souder and Trevor and Justin Allen, along with her four-legged furry buddies.

Pastor Bob Sylvies will conduct a funeral service at noon on Friday, April 1, at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may take the form of contributions in care of the Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette Street, Nashville, TN 37203-4226.
