Frances lived her adult life in Nolensville, Tennessee. She and Lee had built their home at the end of a very long and winding driveway. When you crossed the creek you knew you were almost there! She loved her place. She told me so many times that sitting on the porch or in the backyard was where she found her calm in the many trials of her life. She delighted in seeing the deer and the other wildlife in the wooded area where she lived. She bought salt blocks and food for them. She took such pleasure in her garden and the flowers around the property. She had room for her dogs and her cats who were so special to her.
Once, several years ago, when she was first dealing wth cancer she told me she had talked with God and asked him to give her a sign that she was going to be OK. As she was driving out of that long driveway, she saw a beautiful deer in the field. She told me she felt that God was telling her that all was going to be OK. Thank you God for blessing my friend.
