Condolence: Gary and family, my heart felt condolences to all of you and your families. I only met Gary Sr. one time and heard many stories from Gary. I can tell Gary Sr. was a man with integrity and one of the toughest men I have ever met. I am fortunate that I met him and you are all so fortunate to be apart of his life. I have also met Bruce and Brad and work with Gary, and I can see that Gary Sr. and their mother have passed down some important qualities to the boys. Gary Sr. has done a great job. Blessed are all of you.

Condolence: Oh, Pam, I SO wish Dave and I could be there with you. I've been so sad since hearing of Gary's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I loved the picture of you and Gary with your grandkids.
What fun grandparents!
You two represented what a marriage should be.
We pray that God will carry you through this difficult time.

We treasure the memories of Gary, The Hot Dog Shoppe, Idora Park, Bert's, the laughter and Gary's wonderful smile and the amazing twinkle in his eye!
Love you!

Condolence: Mr. Jeffries. What a great light! It’s an overused metaphor. The idea of a person as light. But for some people, no other expressive comparison fits as well. For Mr. Jeffries—who probably told the 10-year-old version of me to call him Gary—light is right. And, man, was his bright!

It started with his smile. Ever present it seemed. And it peaked with a hint of playful mischief in his eye. Also ever present. My mind cannot currently recall specific anecdotes, but there is a strong metamemory of seeing him and being embraced with a quick joke. The man had a phenomenal sense of humor. And I’d propose that it created much joy and warmth in all the people he encountered along his journey. Particularly his most beloved family.

Brad and Bruce...you two are in my heart. You’re both good dudes. As he was. To Mrs. Jeffries and Tom and Gary, Jr., I can’t imagine your sense of loss. My hope, for all of you and all of the extended family, is that time will be kind to each of you as the long trail of countless happy memories overtakes today’s grief.

Condolence: Dear Aunt Pam, Gary, Tom, Bruce & Brad: Words cannot express the sadness and loss we're feeling here in Florida. Wish we could be there to give all of you a big, giant hug. I personally could give many reasons why I'll miss Uncle Gary but one of the top would be his stories. I LOVE to sit & listen to him & dad tell all their childhood wild, hilarious stories. They never get old. Secondly, I look @ Uncle Gary & I see my dad. They are like 2 peas in a pod and I love it. Such a great loss. We prayed for you tonight & will continue to do so. Love you all so much. Love, Jennifer, Jade & Madison.
