Gary B. Linger, 70
EAST LIVERPOOL – Gary B. Linger, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday January 18, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was 70.
Born in Newell, April 23, 1950, he was a son of the late Winfred R. and Eula Marie Bragg Linger. A lifetime area resident, he worked at the former Globe Brick and later worked as a security guard for Thomas Edgell and Associates Investigations and Security.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Crow Linger, at home. Gary also leaves two daughters, Lacie A. Linger, at home, and Mandy Michelle Mattern and her husband, Shaun, of East Liverpool, as well as a son, Johnny Linger of East Liverpool.
Also surviving are three brothers, Dr. Jerry Linger and his wife, Polly, of Chester, Joseph Linger of Salem, and Thomas Linger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond L., John A., Jackie L. and Donald R. Linger.
Friends may visit Wednesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Rev. David Peterson will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
