Obituary for Gloria Ann Brown (Foster)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Gloria A. Brown, 88, of East Liverpool passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her home.
Gloria was born in East Liverpool on February 17, 1934 a daughter of the late George W. and Edna G. (Walton) Foster. She was a homemaker. Gloria was a member of the Calcutta Church of the Nazarene. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1952. Gloria loved to travel, taking many trips with her family. She enjoyed doing crafts and playing games on her gameboy.
Preceding Gloria in death were her husband William C. Brown; grandson Benjamin Joseph Plummer; four sisters Shirley Myers, Barbara Myers, Betty Owen and Eileen Porstman and four brothers George “Bud”, Dave, Lyle and Don Foster.
Left to cherish her memory are her son William K. Brown and his wife Rose of Rogers; two daughters Jeannie Plummer and her husband Ron of Chester and Cindy Sciarra and her husband Pat of Canfield; seven grandchildren Casey Brown of Rogers, Diana Lee Brown of Rogers, Brent Stansbury and his wife Anna of Canfield, Adam Stansbury and his wife Gabby of El Dorado Hills, CA, Matthew Plummer of Chester, Anna Plummer of Boardman and Aaron Plummer of Chester; four great grandchildren Leeann Rose Brown, Adele Stansbury, Clara Stansbury and Austin Stansbury and her cat and best friend Tabby.
Friends may visit Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Rev. Stephen Hall of Newell First Church of the Nazarene will conduct a funeral service Wednesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Riverview Cemetery
Immediately following the service a time of fellowship will be held at the Dawson Family Center.
