Obituary for Harry Watkins

Rogers, Ohio- Harry C. “Squeek” Watkins, 70, of Carmel Achor Road passed away Sunday, September 11th, 2022 at 11:47 a.m. at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania following a lengthy illness.

Born August 13th, 1952 in East Liverpool, Ohio he was a son of the late Harry M. and Arlene Jenkins Wright. A lifetime area resident, he was retired from the D.W. Dickey Company in 2015 after more than 30 years. He attended the LaCroft Church of the Nazarene.

A huge fan of NASCAR, he loved riding his Kubota Tractor, painting happy rocks with his daughter, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn E. Blystone Watkins, whom he married June 15th, 1974, at home. There is one daughter, Amanda A. Wolfe and her husband, Lucas D. of Rogers, Ohio and one granddaughter, Cassie E. Wolfe of Rogers, Ohio.

In addition, he leaves behind four sisters, Jody Kireta of East Liverpool, Ohio, Julia Kline and her husband, John of Newton Falls, Ohio, Donna Johnson and her husband, Mike of East Liverpool, Ohio and Margie Henry of Denver, Colorado.

Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by one sister, Kay Davis.

A “Celebration of Life Picnic” will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. on the Watkins family farm on Carmel Achor Road in Rogers, Ohio.
