Obituary for Helen June Boso (Cunningham)
West Leechburg, Pennsylvania- Helen June “Tiny” Boso, 79, formerly of State Route #172, Lisbon, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at 6:07 pm at her daughter’s residence following a lengthy illness.
Born June 24, 1939 at East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Mumaw Cunningham. A lifetime area resident, she was a retired meat cutter working for the former Kroger’s Grocery Store in East Liverpool.
A member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene and a graduate of East Liverpool High School in 1956, she also belonged to the Moose Lodge #122, the Eagles Nest #772, the Elks Lodge #258 and the American Legion Lodge #376 in Glenmoor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. “Bud” Boso, Jr., whom she married September 27, 1958, on May 19, 2001.
Survivors include one daughter, Cindy Boso Barrett and her companion, Richard Romano of West Leechburg, Pennsylvania; and one son, Frank Boso and his wife, Barb of Lisbon, Ohio.
There are four grandchildren, Raymond Boso, Donnie Barrett, Sara Dearth and Justin Barrett; and nine great-grandchildren.
Be sides her husband and her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Deshler, Liah Adkins and Martha Adkins.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ will officiate a funeral service at 11:00am Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
