Helen Elenora Knezevic, 91
EAST LIVERPOOL – Helen Elenora Knezevic, of Calcutta, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at her home. She was 91.
Born in East Liverpool, April 17, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Ruth Watkins Galloway. A homemaker, she was a former member of the American Legion Post 374 Women’s Auxiliary.
She was preceded by her first husband, George Bartley, her second husband, Gordon Knezevic, two sisters, Betty Wright and Delouris Reese, and two brothers, Floyd Galloway and William Galloway.
Survivors include: a daughter, Ruth Buckley and her husband, Ken, of East Liverpool, a grandson, Adam Buckley of East Liverpool, a granddaughter and caregiver, Brie Richards and her husband, Randall, of Calcutta, as well as four great-grandchildren: Brooke Buckley, Haley Buckley, Taylor Bell and Ian Buckley, and a niece, Sheri Cody and her husband, Joe, of Georgia. She also leaves her longtime companion, Wilmer “Dink” Hughes of Louisville, Ohio.
Arrangements have been completed by the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calcutta Cemetery.
