Obituary

CHESTER, WEST VIRGINIA – Homer H. “Skip” Higgins III, 60, of East Liverpool passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his home.

Skip was born in East Liverpool on May 21, 1960 a son of the late Homer H. “Sonny” and Jane A. (Caruso) Higgins, Jr. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. Skip enjoyed playing the guitar. He worked at Mountaineer Racetrack and Casino and helped his father at their family business Sonny’s Backroom Drive Thru. Skip loved his nieces and nephew.

Left to cherish his memory are two sisters Penny Brick of East Liverpool and Trudy Rambo of East Liverpool; nephew Tyler Waite of East Liverpool and two nieces Sunny Brick and her fiancé Eric Wilhelm of Wellsville and Jayna Thorn and her husband Jason of Sausalito, CA.

A private family service was held at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Skip may be directed to National MS Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington DC 20090-1891.

Trudy & Penny, So sorry to hear of Your brother Skip’s passing. Many memories of spending time at Sonny’s back in the early days when we all were young. May the peace & Comfort of God be with you during your time of sorrow.
