What a great loss to the Buckeye Council and Camp 7R. Howard was the real article... a scouter who exemplified all that is good in scouting. What a amazingly funny and wonderful guy to share a meal with at the Avalon. You will be missed my most valued friend. Prayers and God's Choicest Blessings for your peaceful rest and for your loving family.

Please accept our sincere sympathy on the death of Howard. I always admired his "can do" attitude and was most grateful for all the support he gave when I was Camp Director at Camp McKinley. Our prayers are with your family at this sad time.

Tom

Our deepest condolences to the family.
Howard was a friend of Scouting and will be missed at scout camp. Selfishly, I will especially miss the conversations we had on weekends when Howard was Campmaster & reminisced about Scouting from years gone by. Be at peace Friend! You will missed but someday we will meet again for the best campout ever!!!
