Obituary for Jim Argabrite

Wellsville, Ohio- James Carlton “Jim” Argabrite, 50, of Oakgrove Road passed away suddenly this past Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at 4:26 p.m. at the Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.

Born in East Liverpool, Ohio on March 13th, 1972, he was a son of the late Virgil “Skip” and Marilyn Stewart Argabrite. A lifetime area resident, he graduated from East Liverpool High School Class of 1991. He was a welder working for the Mac Trailor Company in Salem, Ohio.

His passions in life were riding 4-Wheelers competitively, trail riding, hunting, fishing, camping, and welding, but most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Dawn Bailey Argabrite, whom he married November 23rd, 1990, at home. There is one daughter, Tyra Argabrite and her companion, Ray Stidfole of East Liverpool; and three sons, James C. “JC” Argabrite II of Wellsville, Joshua Argabrite and his companion, Tasha Lake of Wellsville and Micheal Argabrite and his companion, Presley Jackson of Wellsville.

He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Zane Bennett, Karliuana Argabrite, Alaina Argabrite, Raelee Argabrite, Kiera Stidfole and Joshua “JD” Argabrite, Jr.

In addition, he is survived by two brothers, Brian Argabrite and his wife, Tammy of Mingo Junction, Ohio and Chris Argabrite and his wife, LeRon of Calcutta, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Virgil “Chip” Argabrite II.

Friends may visit the family this Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Kenny Stull, Jim’s brother-in-law will officiate a funeral service at 7:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.

Immediately following the service, family and friend will gather at the Dawson Family Center.
