Obituary for Ron Wolfe

ROGERS, OHIO – James Ronald “Ron” Wolfe, 82, of Rogers passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at his home.

Ron was born in Wellsville, OH on March 27, 1940 a son of the late Johnny and Winona (Glover) Wolfe. He retired from Bill Schultz Chevrolet in Fort Pierce, FL where he worked as a body shop repairman for over 20 years. Prior to that he owned and operated his own shop Wolfe Auto Body in Wellsville and East Liverpool.

Ron enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, especially his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt. He got to ride along in the M & M race car on the Daytona Motor Speedway. He really enjoyed watching old western movies, restoring old cars and spending time with his family sitting around a fire.

Preceding Ron in death were his wife, whom he married May 30, 1981, Sherry L. (Gorrell) Wolfe; son Jimmy Wolfe; brother Warren Wolfe and stepson Patrick Gorrell.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Laurie Muschweck and her husband Tim of Murphy, NC; three grandchildren Tim Muschweck of Wichita, KS, Tara Brant and her husband Cody of Murphy, NC and Scott Muschweck of Murphy, NC; three great grandchildren Aiden, Asher and Adalee Brant all of Murphy, NC; stepdaughter Melissa Porter of Florida; two step granddaughters Brittany Rule and Celeste Taylor; two step great grandchildren Tristan and Aleigha Taylor; two sisters Kathryn Rose of Wellsville and Carol Sue Lee and her husband Richard of Grand Rapids, MI; two brothers John E. “Jack” Wolfe of East Liverpool and Kevin L. Wolfe of Wellsville; mother-in-law Jean Gorrell of East Liverpool and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 12 to 3:30 p.m. Pastor Tom Adkins of Campground Community Church will conduct a service at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
