Obituary for Jane A. Oligher (Richman)
NEW CASTLE, PENNSYLVANIA – Jane A. (Richman) Oligher, 87, of Calcutta passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Edison Manor in New Castle, PA.
Jane was born in East Liverpool on June 18, 1933 a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Belle A. (Walker) Richman. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1952. Jane was active member of the ELHSAA helping with reunions and the Clock Tower and was a former member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was self-employed as a housekeeper.
Preceding Jane in death were her husband Bernard P. Oligher; brother Paul E. Richman; sister Ruth Faire and two sisters at their time of birth.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Pam Cable of Beaver Falls, PA; son James W. Mitchell and his wife Cindy of Monaca, PA; four granddaughters Sarah Mitchell of Wilmington, NC, Jamie Mitchell of Wilmington, NC, Brenda Fulmer and her husband Scott of New Castle, PA and Crystal Carothers of New Castle, PA; five great grandchildren Brandon Udon, Adelle Udon, Justin Udon, Ronald Mirro and Amber Mirro; four sister Viola Wells of Mesa, AZ, Wilda Featherstone of East Liverpool, Mary Shevelow of Toronto, OH and Pauline Walton of Pittsburgh, PA and four great grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rev. Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Sunday 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Jane’s memory may be directed to the Monaca Volunteer Fire Department Station 56, PO Box 81, 928 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca, PA 15061.
