Obituary for Janet L Poole

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO – Janet L. Poole, 87, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville.

Janet was born in Wellsville on October 28, 1932 a daughter of the late J. Kenneth and Marcella Miller. She was a graduate of Wellsville High School class of 1950. Janet worked as a cafeteria aide at the Westgate School. She was a member of Glenmoor Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir. Janet was also a member of East Liverpool Rebound Club and the Wellsville Alumni Association.

Janet loved to read and enjoyed traveling all over the world. She enjoyed being a part of her card club that has been meeting for over 60 years.

Our mother and grandmother will now join the love of her life her husband Jack L. Poole. Janet is also preceded in death by her brother Kenny Miller.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Steve L. Poole and his wife Peggy of East Liverpool; three daughters Kathy Hannan and her husband Wayne of Wheeling, WV, Sandy Cunningham and her husband Steve of East Liverpool and Gail Angus of Wellsville; 12 grandchildren Stacey Davis and her husband Ricky, Shaun Poole, Nate McKee, Justin McKee and his wife Cassandra, Alesha McKee and her significant other Cory Carr, Alison Hannan and her significant other Brent Mace, Emily Rickman, Matthew Cunningham and his wife Tricia, Brandon Cunningham, Ashley Eaton and her husband Tyler, Chelsey Trace and her husband Matthew and Alisha Angus and her significant other Ryan Pawlowski; 24 great grandchildren; brother Bill Miller and his wife Linda of Wellsville and two sisters Gail Grimm of Wellsville and Sally Prince of Wellsville.

A celebration of Janet’s life will be scheduled at a later date so family and friends can share the many happy moments of her life.
