Obituary for John D. "Jack" Lott

EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – John D. “Jack” Lott, 70, of New Manchester, WV formerly of Plum Borough, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital .

Jack was born in Plum Borough, PA on February 6, 1952. He worked in the Laborer Union for the Dick Corporation and finished his career as a maintenance worker for Kent State in East Liverpool, OH. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Cornwall Mountain Hunting Club. Jack enjoyed NASCAR racing.

Preceding Jack in death was his father John W. Lott.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife 26 years, whom he married August 12, 1995, Helen (Snediker) Lott; four children Brandon Lott of Plum Borough, PA, Jeremy Vick and his wife Christina of New Cumberland, WV, Natalie Fisher and her husband Mike of Rogers, OH and Travis Vick of Weirton, WV; five grandchildren Tia Vick, Keira Vick, Skyler Powell, Jaimason Hawkey and Michaella Fisher; mother Florence (McRoberts) Lott of Plum Borough, PA; brother Bill Lott and his wife Debbie of Lower Burrell, PA; two sisters Barb Trimble and her husband David of Fort Wayne, IN and Patty Blasco and her husband Butch of Apollo, PA; uncle Richard McRoberts of New Alexandria, PA and his dog Ginger.

Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Tuesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you share your favorite memory of Jack at the time of fellowship that is planned from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dawson Family Center.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of East Liverpool City Hospital for the exceptional care that Jack received.
