EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – John E. Rodway, 90, of East Liverpool passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Truman House in New Philadelphia, OH.
John was born in Midland, PA on February 4, 1932 a son of the late Charles and Elizabeth May (Lane) Rodway. He worked at Crucible Steel then at Penn State University Beaver Campus in the computer lab. John enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, playing music and reading. He also enjoyed being a HAMM radio operator.
Preceding John in death were his wife, whom he married February 26, 1951, Charlotte A. (Potts) Rodway; brother Charles Rodway; sons-in-law Ralph Webb, Jr. and Robert Bender; grandson-in-law Robert Ferguson and great grandson John Ferguson.
Left to cherish his memory are three daughters Sally A. Bender of East Liverpool, Carol L. Anderson and her husband John of Industry, PA and Darla S. Adkins and her husband Chuck of Calcutta; seven grandchildren Matthew Webb and his wife Michelle, Jaimie Williams and her husband Dan, Michael Webb, Chad Anderson and his wife Kim, Jenny Ferguson, Sarah Adkins and her husband Jacques and Luke Adkins; eleven great grandchildren Harley Webb, Corey Webb, Kerrigan Webb, Megan Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Leah Williams, Alex Williams, Daniel Ferguson, Nathan Stefancik and Jocelyn Stefancik and sister-in-law Tess Rodway.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
