Obituary for Keith Allen Tucker

Keith Allen Tucker,70, passed away surrounded by loved ones at 3:46 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at his home on Moore Avenue in East Liverpool.

A son of the late Stanley “Ted” and Virginia Rae Eddy Tucker, he was born in East Liverpool on November 29, 1945. He was graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1963 and went on to receive his associate’s degree from Eastern Nazarene College. He had spent most of his life in this area, with the exception of a few years in Boston and Canfield.

For over 30 years, he was a financial analyst with GMAC until his retirement, and he later returned to General Motors as an auditor for a couple years. He loved hunting and fishing – especially on his boat at Lake Erie with his wife, Kimberly – and he also got a lot of enjoyment from cooking what he caught. An avid vegetable gardener, he just appreciated the simple things in life. He had belonged to the American Legion Post #374 for over 45 years.

Kimberly survives him at home.

Additional survivors include a son, Christopher Tucker and his wife, April, of Columbia, SC, and a daughter, Wendy Sellers and her husband, Jason, also of Columbia. There are four grandchildren: Samantha and Christopher Tucker and Sophia and Hannah Sellers.

A sister, Jerry Hoppel and her husband, Darryl, of East Liverpool, also survive, as well as two brothers-in-law: Jeff Boyd and his fiancee, Bobbi, and Brian Boyd and his wife, Maria, along with numerous nieces and nephews, including Alannah, Elyse and Bria.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, where the family will be present from 3 to 7 p.m.

Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct services to be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
