Obituary for Kippy R. Steffen (Burcham)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Kippy R. Steffen, 67, of East Liverpool passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at Heritage Valley in Beaver.
Kippy was born in East Liverpool on January 16, 1954 a daughter of the late James and Peggy (Derouin) Burcham. She was a graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1972. Kippy was a member of Boyce Church. She retired as a shift supervisor from First Energy formerly known as Penn Power. Kippy was an avid collector of Fiesta Ware.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, whom she married April 28, 1973, Rick Steffen; three sons Aaron Steffen and his wife Tiffany of Cocoa, FL, Ian Steffen and his wife Maggie of Medina, OH and Joshua Steffen and his wife Allison of Saint Cloud, FL; daughter Karissa Steffen and her fiancé Gibran Colbert of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren Jimmy, Jaime, Mary, Allen, Cailin, Weston and Caleb Steffen; four brothers Jim Burcham of East Liverpool, Pete Burcham and his wife Cathy of East Liverpool, Mark Burcham and his wife Sharon of Brookfield, OH and Steve “Jug Head” Burcham and his wife Patti of Freeport, FL and three sisters Kathy Burcham Anderson and her husband David “Flea” of Newell, Minda Burcham Bess and her husband Jim of Wellsville and Kelly Burcham Adkins and her husband Rick of East Liverpool.
Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Alvin Talkington a friend of the family will conduct a funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff on the 2nd Floor C Wing Critical Care at Heritage Valley in Beaver for the exceptional care they provided to Kippy.
