Obituary for Lavonna May "Bonnie" Adams (Metz)
East Liverpool, Ohio- Lavonna May “Bonnie” Adams, 58, of Yeager Drive passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at 3:45 pm at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Born July 1st, 1960 at New Martinsville, Wetzel County, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Carthia Price Metz. She spent the last 31 years living in this area moving here from Smithfield, West Virginia. A homemaker, she was Pentecostal by faith.
Survivors include her husband, Lindsay F. “Frank” Adams, whom she married November 23, 1978, at home. There is one daughter, Jessica Edgell and her husband, John of East Liverpool; one son, William Adams and his wife, Lacey of Hammondsville, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
In addition, she leaves behind three sisters, Freda Haught and her husband, Jim, Nelda Haught and her husband, Allen and Julie Metz all of Smithfield, West Virginia; and one brother, Randall Metz of Russell, Kentucky.
She will also be missed by her three loyal companions, Lacy, Tiny and Bandit.
Friends may visit the family on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool. Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ will officiate a funeral service at 1:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery on Monday.
