Obituary for Leah Kathrine Webb (Morrison)
East Liverpool, Ohio- Leah Kathrine Webb, 68, of Ohio Avenue passed away Friday, May 20th, 2022 at 11:45 p.m. at the Calcutta Health Care Center following a nine year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Born January 22nd, 1954, she was a daughter of the late William “Bud” and Helen Perkins Morrison. A lifetime area resident, she was retired in 2013 from the former Hall China Company after 39 years of service.
Leah was a member of Boyce Church in East End and was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary American Legion Post #374. A 1972 graduate of East Liverpool High School ,she loved music, enjoyed dancing, but most of all she truly loved spending time with her family.
She leaves behind her husband, Joe Webb, whom she married April 14, 1978, at home. There is one daughter, Hollie Kelly of Calcutta, Ohio; two sons, Joseph Lee Webb II of Columbus, Ohio and Lucas Webb and his wife, Lestine of San Diego, California; and six grandchildren.
In addition, Leah is also survived by four sisters, Grace Golling and her husband, Pete of Cape Coral, Florida, Rita Evans and her husband, Rich of East Liverpool, Ohio, Carolyn Hager and her husband, Dave of East Liverpool, Ohio and Marion Ibbs of East Liverpool, Ohio; and one brother, Walt Morrison and his wife, Sue of Newton Falls, Ohio.
Besides her parents, Leah was also preceded in death by one brother, Mike Morrison.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Reverend Chuck Adkins will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family requests contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
