Obituary for Leonard N. Bloor

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA – Leonard N. “Lenny” Bloor, 67, of East Liverpool passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA due to a sudden illness.

Lenny was born in East Liverpool on August 14, 1951. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1969. Lenny retired from the GM Plant in Lordstown after 40 years of service. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 1112. He was an avid Steeler and Indy Car Racing fan.

Lenny was preceded in death by his father Howard Kenneth Bloor, Sr.; mother Evalyn (Oyster) Bloor Cunningham; two brothers Howard Kenneth “Kenny” Bloor, Jr. and Frederick Stephen Bloor.

Left to cherish his memory are two sisters Amy S. Bloor of East Liverpool and Cyndi Welsh of Midland; two nephews Shaun Welsh and his wife Emily of Pittsburgh, PA and Thomas Howard Bloor of East Liverpool; two nieces Heather Renee Welsh of Midland and Nedra Bloor of East Liverpool; great nephews and niece, whom he truly adored, Caellum Welsh, Kellan Welsh and Andee Rae Rosepilar and his beloved dog Tanner.

Friends may visit Friday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Bill Anzevino of Christian Assembly Church will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the First United Methodist Church for fellowship.
