Obituary for Linda M. Bradley (Gomoll)

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Linda M. Bradley, 68, of East Liverpool passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown following a lengthy illness.

Linda was born in Akron, Ohio on November 22, 1950 a daughter of the late Otto H. and Harriet E. (Kautz) Gomoll. Linda was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1968.

Linda loved horses, crafts and antiques. She also enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and koi ponds. Linda owned her own business Good Scents Herbal Gardens where she made her own candles, soap and dried flowers for arrangements. Linda was a very giving person and would help in many ways with various food pantries. She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her brother Robert A. Gomoll.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 33 years, whom she married April 24, 1986, Rick Bradley; two sons Wesley Mays and his fiancée Cassie Baughan of Wellsville and William A. “Billy” Mays, Jr. of Youngstown; four grandsons Donavain, Wesley, Jr., Jayden and Kolton; brother Douglas Gomoll and his wife Donna of East Liverpool and sister Terrie Gomoll of East Liverpool.

Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Linda’s name may be directed to Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 200 at YSU, One University Plaza, Youngstown, OH 44555. The donations made in her name will benefit the many food charities she was passionate about helping.
