Obituary for Linda Burson
Columbiana, Ohio – Linda Rae Burson, 78, formerly of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 1:05 pm at the St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center in Columbiana following a lengthy illness.
Born in East Liverpool, March 30, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude Rickerd Newlen. Linda was a member of the Campground Community Church and she had worked for the Moderne Glass Company at one time.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Burson Pease and her fiancé Mike Curran of Calcutta, and one son, Paul Burson and his wife, Brenda, of Salem, their son, Josh and extended family. There are two grandchildren, Danielle Deal and Casey Walton Ward and her husband, Bruce; and two great-granddaughters, Madden Jennifer Deal and Parker Rae Deal; She is also survived by a brother, Michael Newlen and his wife, Vickie.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her ex-husband, Jack Burson and by one niece, Tyra Rae Newlen.
Dan Bair will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 am Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
