SALEM, OHIO – Linda R. Dorsey, 71, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Salem West Healthcare Center.
Linda was born in East Liverpool on May 1, 1949 a daughter of the late Ronald L. and Mabel (Thomas) Gibson. Linda was a hairstylist. She was a graduate of Wellsville High School and was a volunteer cheerleading coach for many years for the East End Red Devils football team.
Preceding Linda in death were her husband Leonard A. Dorsey; grandson James Perry, Jr., two granddaughters Victoria Humphrey and Luci Ella Kay Martin; great granddaughter Mi’Robyn O’Dell; four sisters Nancy Hancock, Marge Davis, Alice Perkens and Mina Hitt and three brothers Ronald, Edward and Ralph Gibson.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons Charles “Chad” Dorsey of Salem and Chris Dorsey of East Liverpool; daughter Kimberly Martin of Wellsville; stepson Richard Alan Blythe; three stepdaughters Robin Walton of Dayton, OH, Traci Woodward of Wellsville and Dana Kirkland of Dayton; two goddaughters Julie Morris and Mindy Springer and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In compliance with Ohio State regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
