Linda came into my life when she moved into Colonial Colony South and we met at a fashion show. When she became president of our HOA, I was the secretary and we formed a lasting friendship. She was well respected by management and was a good liaison between the homeowners and management. Management's door was always open to Linda. She bowled, directed our variety shows, took art classes (she was quite the artist), sang in the choir at Colony Church, and took part in all the activities the park had to offer. Linda's husband Bill and my husband, Don played golf together and became fast friends. She was my matron of honor at my wedding to Don. Linda was full of life, but was devasted when Bill, the love of her life, died. She picked her self up by the boot straps and went on with her life. When her cancer re-surfaced, she fought back and came back to Florida for one last winter. She brought her BFF furry friend, Miss. Caroline, with her, but I knew I was her BFF human friend! She felt good. She was still taking chemo when she came back, but I had never seen her look better. She was always busy with friends, and when Bike Week came to Daytona, she put a helmet over her red hair, got on the back of a Harley and went to all the events.
Thank you Linda, for being my BFF. We shared so much, like shopping, shopping, bling, and shoes!
Love you forever,
Kay and The Donald
