Lisa Marie Sandy, 59
EAST LIVERPOOL - Lisa Marie Sandy, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 59.
Born in East Liverpool, September 25, 1962, she was a daughter of the late John and Thelma Theiss Franczek. A member of the Oak Glen High School Class of 1981, she attended St. Aloysius School and was Catholic by faith. She worked for the City of East Liverpool in the planning department and later worked in the gift shop at Mountaineer Resort.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Sandy, at home. She also leaves a sister, Anna “Pixie” Hapach of Chester and a brother, John Patrick Franczek and his wife, Amy, of Cleveland, as well as a niece, Josephine Franczek and a nephew, Shawn Franczek. She will also be sadly missed by her two dogs, Lexi and Olivia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffery and Jamie Franczek.
Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. A funeral service will by conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
