Obituary for Lori Lane
Lori A. Lane, 47
EAST LIVERPOOL - Lori Ann Lane, 47, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 4:25 a.m. at the East Liverpool City Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born August 8, 1972 in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Jack H. and Louise Ann “Lou Ann” Betteridge Jobe. A lifetime area resident, she loved working for River Valley Physicians where she was associated with several area doctor’s offices for many years.
A member of The Living Well Church in Wellsville, she was a 1990 graduate of Wellsville High School.
Above everything in life, Lori loved being a wife and mother to her family. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, East Liverpool Police Chief John C. Lane, whom she married October 28, 1995, as well as two daughters, Megan Lane and Madison Lane; and one son, Jay Lane.
There are two brothers, Jack H. Jobe, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee and Brian D. Jobe and his wife, Debbie, of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William Clifford Jobe on May 27, 1964.
Friends may visit the family Sunday from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Pastor Dirk Hall of The Living Well Church will conduct a funeral service Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Immediately following the service family and friends will gather at the Wellsville Alumni Center for fellowship.
