Obituary for Marcia L Hilditch (James)

CHESTER – Marcia L. Kinsey Hilditch, of Chester, passed away Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville following a lengthy illness. She was 66.

Born in East Liverpool, August 5, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Timothy James and Mary Kinsey. She worked at Veranda Place in Darlington, Pennsylvania and she loved fishing, especially in Canada. Above all things in life, she was devoted to her family and loved to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel “Moe” Hilditch. The couple married August 17, 1983. She was also preceded in death by her brother Timothy James Kinsey, a nephew, TJ Kinsey, and a niece, Patty McGurren.

Survivors include three daughters: Tina Sprouse and her husband, Bryan, of East Liverpool, Tessie McMahon and her boyfriend, Danny Davidson, of Wellsville, and Tammi Sentz and her husband, Bill, of East Palestine. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her husband of 17 years George McGurren.

She is also survived by a sister, Donna McGurren, and three brothers Robert Coy of Mexico, Albert Coy of Salem, and Charles Barrett of Africa.

Friends may visit Sunday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
