When Margaret lived at Peachtree Inn, I would always go up and visit her when I was in town visiting Mom. There was one time that I was in town, and as soon as I stepped into Mom's apartment, she told me that "Margaret is leaving tomorrow to go to California, and she wants you to stop up and see her." Of course as soon as I unloaded the car, Mom and I went up to visit Margaret. (Margaret was on the 3rd floor, and Mom was on the basement level) When we got up to her room, Margaret opened the door and I got one of those wonderful hugs and smiles from her. When we stepped in, I noticed that she wasn't packed and she had all her clothes and suitcase laying on the bed. She laughed and said she just hadn't gotten around to packing, so I volunteered to help. She was tickled and told me to go ahead, so I did. I folded, separated, and packed all her clothes neatly into her suitcase, closed it and sat it off to the side, ready to go while she and Mom had a nice visit. I still can hear Margaret laugh and telling me that she didn't invite me up to do her packing. We all had a good laugh and a very enjoyable visit. She always had a way of making any time shared, the best time ever. I am going to miss her very much. She was a very dear friend of Mom's and loved by so many. Heaven gained a truly beautiful angel.

Mrs. Duffy played a big part in my life, especially during my childhood. She was so good to all of the neighborhood kids. Her laugh was contagious and she always had a good nature. We loved when she taught us in school....everyone loved Mrs. Duffy! She touched many lives during her time on earth and no doubt she will be missed by many. Until we all meet again, rest in peace.
