Mary Ann Young Ream, 92
EAST LIVERPOOL – Mary Ann Young Ream, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home. She was 92.
Born in Alliance, November 30, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Ann Gorman Young. She lived in this area most of her life and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mary Ann worked for American Paper Products until her retirement and enjoyed travelling with her family. She was the proud wife of a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and enjoyed time spent at the annual Navy reunions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Ream, on April 10, 2001. The couple married July 23, 1950. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Frances Young, Helen Jarvis and Judith Katherine Shepherd, and five brothers, James Walter Young, Frederick Edward “Tom” Young, William Harold Young, Jr., George Michael “Jack” Young and Joseph Gorman Young.
Survivors include a daughter, Suzan Albright of Floyd, Virginia, and a son, William E. Ream of East Liverpool, as well as two grandchildren, Leeann Kathleen Ream and Isaac William Ream.
Family and friends may visit Thursday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Rev. Steve Knisely of the church will conduct a funeral service Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
