Obituary for Michael D. Ward
CHESTER, WEST VIRGINIA – Michael D. Ward, 62, of Chester passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his home.
Michael was born in Louisa, Kentucky on March 29, 1959 a son of the late Ralph C. and Nina M. (Butcher) Ward. He worked as a salesman in the electronics department at Sears and Radioshack. Michael was a loving member of the family and loved doing things for others. He was a very intelligent person that had a very good understanding of the meaning of things and a great appreciation for music. Mike was a very humorous person that enjoyed sharing his unique thoughts with his family and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his wife Carrie (Lynch) Ward and brother-in-law Daniel J. McGeehan.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters Pamela Hill of Chester and Cathy McGeehan of Chardon, OH; two nephews Nathan McGeehan and his wife Stacey of Chardon, OH and Ivan Hill and his wife Mindy of Chester; niece Jessica Marino and her husband Andrew of Chardon, OH; great niece Riley May Hill; two great nephews Liam Richard McGeehan and Canaan James McGeehan and loving and best friend Betty Easterday of Chester.
A private service will be held for the family at the Dawson Funeral Home.
