Obituary for Mildred Mae Butler (Milby)
East Liverpool, Ohio- Mildred Mae Butler, 96, of Lisbon Street passed away Monday, May 1st, 2023 at 3:25 am at the St. Mary’s Alzheimer’s Center following a lengthy illness.
Born May 10th, 1926 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Wilson Milby. A lifetime area resident, she had worked for the American Paper Company as a floor lady, at Ogilvie’s Department store in the Men's Department and at the East Liverpool High School Library. She was a member of the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in East Liverpool.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank James Butler, whom she married December 2nd, 1949, on July 28th, 2011.
Survivors include two sons, Frank R. “Duke” Butler and his wife, Jody of Bedford, Texas and David J. Butler and his wife, Julie of East Liverpool. There is one granddaughter, Jada Ramsay and her husband, Nick of Columbus, Ohio; and two grandsons, Ryan Butler of Columbus, Ohio and Adam Butler and his wife, Megan of East Liverpool, Ohio; and three great-grandsons, Asher Ramsay, Rhett Butler and Mack Butler.
There will be no public visitation or service according to Mildred’s wishes.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The Dawson Funeral Home of East Liverpool, Ohio is in charge of all local arrangements.
