Obituary for Nora Lee Rogers (Mackey)

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – Nora Lee Rogers, 93, of Selma, TX formerly of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Garden Ridge in San Antonio, TX following a lengthy illness.

Nora Lee was born in Wellsville on August 14, 1925 a daughter of the late Lee R. and Helen (Snediker) Mackey.

Nora Lee retired from General Motors. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Nora Lee was an antique and collectable dealer. She loved to go to auctions to shop for collectables and antiques. Most of all, Nora Lee was loving and generous to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many great friends.

Nora Lee was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Roger, Jr.; brother Lee Mackey; two sisters Juanita Reed and Phyllis Kendall; son-in-law Ron Almas and three brothers-in-law Charles, Hollis and Jack Rogers.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Jeffrey A. Rogers and his wife Jan of Selma, TX; daughter Nancy Almas Waterford, MI; four grandchildren Kristi Almas, Corey Almas and his wife Angela, Casey Vrbjar and her husband Louis and Cary Almas and his wife Shannon; eight great grandchildren Tina, Kennedy, Emily, Grace, Mackenzie, Kensington, Lylah and Luca; two sisters-in-law Pat Mackey and Shirley Rogers and brother-in-law Don Rogers and his wife Doris.

Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery of St, Clair Avenue Church of Christ will conduct a funeral service Saturday 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
