EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Patricia A. Groubert, 92, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Orchards of East Liverpool.
Patricia was born in East Liverpool on April 26, 1929 a daughter of the late Edgar and Hazel (Walton) Rose. She was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1947 and also graduated from the Ohio Valley Business College. Patricia was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church where she was active with its Women’s Association, Maranatha Class and McLain Circle. She was also a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association and the 7 Come 11 card club. Patricia was an avid East Liverpool Potters fan.
Patricia worked in the offices at the former Western and Southern Agency, Crucible Steel, and Montgomery Ward, where she would retire.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married April 29, 1976, Earl Groubert and brother Pastor Jerry Rose.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sonia Golden and her husband Steve of East Liverpool; granddaughter Allisyn Leppla and her husband Jason of Avon, OH; two great grandchildren Cohen and Kaia Leppla; sister-in-law Jane Rose of East Liverpool and several nieces.
Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 12 to 2 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. The family request that everyone please wear a mask due to COVID 19.
