PAULINE G. WARRICK, 93

EAST LIVERPOOL – Pauline G. Green Warrick, who was born in East Liverpool and spent all of her 93 years here, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019. She is now reunited with her husband, Bill, and other loved ones who have preceded her in death.

A daughter of the late Howard and Gladys Irene Dailey Green, Pauline was born on July 25, 1925 and was a 1942 graduate of East Liverpool High School. As a young girl, she worked at the former American Paper Products, and later was a familiar face in the North Elementary School cafeteria, where she was a cashier for many years.

Pauline was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool, and had belonged to Orchard Grove Methodist Church until the two churches merged. She was a reliable and devoted volunteer for many church events, and had helped with the Good Samaritan Sale for years. Quiet by nature, she did enjoy playing cards and belonged to several card clubs.

She and her husband, William T. “Bill” Warrick, Jr., were married on September 26, 1945. Bill, who preceded her in death on May 31, 2005, had been the longtime manager of the East Liverpool Country Club. Pauline and Bill were most proud of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family.

Surviving is a daughter, Linda S. Humphrey and her fiancé, Robert Erpenbach, of Negley, as well as a daughter-in-law, Mary Warrick, of East Liverpool. There are six beloved grandchildren: Shannon Warrick and his wife, Alicia; Greg Warrick and his wife, Lori; Lonnie Warrick and his wife, Jordan; Crystal Fair and her husband, Chris; Angie Serrao and her husband, Frank; and Brett Humphrey and his wife, Melissa. Pauline also leaves behind 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Pauline was also preceded in death by her son, William “Butch” Warrick in 2014, as well as her son-in-law, Terry Humphrey in 2005, and her brother, Lester “Bus” Green, in 2016.
