LANCASTER, OH – Pearl Owens Neville, of Lancaster, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Friday evening, March 18, 2016 at her home in Lancaster, Ohio following a lengthy illness. She was 70.

Born in East Liverpool, May 14, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence D. and Mildred Smith Owens. A caregiver and a homemaker, at one time she attended the Friendship Gospel Tabernacle in East Liverpool.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Neville, Sr. The couple married on December 2, 1962. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Owens and a sister Marjorie Owens Smith.

There are two daughters, Brenda Mason, and her husband Jim, of Lancaster, Ohio, and Christine Wilson of East Liverpool, along with two sons, James E. Neville, Jr. of East Liverpool and William Neville of Wellsville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include three brothers, JR Owens and his wife, Pat, of Lisbon, Bob Owens of Kentucky and Jim Owens and his wife, Mary, of Lisbon.

Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Matthew Olson will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
