Obituary for Pearl L. Roush (Fox)

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS – Pearl L. Roush, 98, of Naperville, IL formerly of East Liverpool passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 at The Pearl of Naperville in Naperville, IL.

Pearl was born in Clifton, WV on November 3, 1923 a daughter of the late Hoy and Mollie (Harrison) Fox. She worked at East Liverpool City Hospital in the laundry department and was a short order cook at the Elite Diner. Pearl was an avid book reader. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother that loved spending time with her family.

Preceding Pearl in death were her husband Pearl A. Roush; daughter Linda Gbur; son Tom Roush; four brothers Harry, Roy Joe, Lloyd and William Fox and three sisters Eleanor Forshee, Peggy Chambers and Kathryn Sprouse.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Ronald A. Roush and his wife Lana of Warren, OH; daughter Sandy Hughes and her husband Jim of Naperville, IL; ten grandchildren Michael Hughes and his wife Lydia of Naperville, IL, Sean Hughes and his wife Julie of Geneva, IL, Joseph Hughes and his wife Diana of Aurora, IL, Robert Gbur of East Liverpool, Melissa Gbur of Florence, SC, Troy Roush and his wife Jennifer of Omaha, NE, Elaine Kloss and her husband Kevin of Columbiana, Scott Roush of Warren, OH, Robin Mayhugh and her husband Brian of Bristolville, OH and Michelle Emerson and her husband Ernie of Warren, OH; nineteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Friends may visit Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery of St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ will conduct a funeral service Saturday 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens.
