Raymond W. Adams, 62

EAST LIVERPOOL – Loving father and wonderful husband, Raymond W. Adams, of St. John Street, East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 62.

Born in Steubenville, October 16, 1954, he was a son of Juanita Moore Anderson of Weirton and the late Wilmer Adams. A resident of this area most of his life, for many years he was a well-known employee of the former Jones’ Marathon Station of St. Clair Avenue.

His wife, Denna “Dee” Adams, survives at home. The couple married September 22, 1980. He also leaves behind a daughter, Juanita Adams and her fiancé, Brian Little, of East Liverpool, and a son, Sonny Ray Adams and his wife, Rebecca, of Mingo Junction. He will be sadly missed by his six grandchildren: Josh Adams, Jasmine Rhodes, Nick Corey, Chris Corey, Rayanna Adams, and Sonny Ray Adams, Jr.

Two sisters survive as well, Wanda “Wendy” Adkins and Pat Smallwood and her husband, Jay, as well as a brother, Ron Adams and his wife, Cathy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Adams and Bob Adams.

Services were conducted Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Dawson Funeral Home.
