RICHARD JOSEPH COUKART OBITUARY

Columbus, Ohio- Richard Joseph Coukart, 46, of Elmsbury Court passed away on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 at 11:07 p.m. at his residence following a brief illness.

Born April 14th, 1971 at Wheeling, West Virginia, he was a son of Edward and Marsha Matesic Coukart of East Liverpool.

A graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1991 and an avid fisherman, he had spent the last year living in Columbus. Prior to that, he resided in East Liverpool working as a contractor primarily with concrete. He was catholic by faith.

Besides his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Brynna Coukart of Westerville, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Maria Rose Coukart of Westerville; and one step-son, Jeremy Messmore of Columbus, Ohio.

In addition, he leaves behind one brother, Michael Coukart and his wife, Lori of Columbus, Ohio along with their two daughters Cassady and McKenna Coukart.

There are several aunts and uncles as well as many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the James Hocking Center with Fr. Peter Haladej of Holy Trinity Parish serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the Dawson Funeral Home two hours prior to the Mass.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia.

The Dawson Funeral Home of East Liverpool is in charge of all local arrangements.

The family requests that contributions be made to Holy Trinity Parish at 335 West Fifth Street; East Liverpool, Ohio 43920
