RICHARD A. SILVERTHORN OBITUARY
East Liverpool, Ohio- Richard A. Silverthorn, 73, of Wilbert Avenue, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:18 a.m. following a lengthy illness.
Born September 18, 1942 in Chesterton, Indiana, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Mary Dille Silverthorn.
He spent most of his lifetime in this area, moving here from Chesterton. He was retired from the State of Ohio’s Liquor Store in East Liverpool. He was a member of the 1st Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
He leaves behind his loving fiancé, Shirley Delposen of East Liverpool as well as one daughter, Sara Main of Porter, Indiana.
There are two grandchildren, Samantha Silverthorn Brown and Cody Main; and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Alec Brown. In addition, he also leaves behind one sister, Susan Cook and her husband, Kenneth of DiQuincy, LA.
Private family services were held 4:30pm Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor Norman W. Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
