Robert D. Bartram, 89
EAST LIVERPOOL – Robert D. Bartram, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at CrossRoads at Beaver Creek. He was 89.
Born in Wellsville, August 11, 1930, he was a son of the late John D. and Hilda Lorene Johnson Bartram. He attended Wellsville Schools, he then worked at the former Crucible Steel Company until retiring in 1982 as a general foreman. He loved antique cars and gardening, especially flowers, and enjoyed getting together with Crucible retirees for breakfast.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia B. Bartram, whom he married August 13, 1949. He also leaves a daughter, Pamela Norman and her husband, James, of Columbiana, as well as a son, Robert M. “Bob” Bartram and his wife, Ann, of Matthews, North Carolina. There are four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan M. Bartram, as well as a sister, Joyce Fulton, and two brothers, Jack and Dick Bartram.
In observance with the state directives regarding COVID-19, Rev. Rick Dawson will conduct a private family service at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
