Robert Lee Doland, Sr., 95
LISBON - Robert Lee Doland, Sr., of Lisbon, passed away Monday morning, July 11, 2022, at his home. He was 95.
Born in East Liverpool, December 6, 1926, he was a son of the late Thomas and Emma Hazel Evans Doland.
A lifetime area resident, he retired from the former Crucible Steel Company as a foreman in the conditioning department after more than thirty-three years of service. Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy serving our country during World War II aboard the USS North Carolina in Japan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive Irene Rardon Doland on April 16th, 2021. The couple married November 2nd, 1945.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Jones and her husband, Tom, of Lisbon; and two sons, Robert L. Doland, Jr. and his wife, Pat, of Salem, and Jeff Doland of Minerva. He leaves behind six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Dawson Funeral Home.
