ROBERT A. ‘BOB’ ROHR, 66

GLENMOOR – Robert A. “Bob” Rohr passed away at the age of 66 early Tuesday morning, February 7, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Boardman. In spite of his recent illness, he continued to live life to the fullest.

Born on August 25, 1950 to the late Sherman Rohr, Jr. and Elsie Frances Parrish Rohr Stuchell, he was raised in Glenmoor and attended Beaver Local Schools. Known to his many friends as “Tweety Bird”, he was a heavy equipment mechanic at Pusateri Excavating before relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1987. There, he had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic, welder and fabricator, retiring four years ago from the City of St. Petersburg.

A longtime member of the American Legion Post #736 in Glenmoor, Bob also belonged to the Sons of the American Legion Post #125 in St. Petersburg, where he was a lifetime member and volunteered for various charity events. Known as a hard worker, he was a proud American, a music lover, and was happiest when surrounded by his loving family.

Surviving him is a daughter, Kimberly Milhoan and her husband, J, and two sons: Jamie Rohr and his wife, Laura, and Jason Rohr, along with four beloved grandchildren, Hannah, Logan, Addisyn and Malena, all of East Liverpool.

Bob also leaves behind two sisters: Glenda Fitch and her husband, Gary, and Vicki Lanham, as well as a brother, Michael Stuchell and his wife, Liza, all of East Liverpool, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-father, Terry “Pop” Stuchell, and by a brother-in-law, Malcolm “Mike” Lanham.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Bob’s life is planned for Saturday, February 25 at Three Blessings on McCoy Avenue, where family and friends will gather at 2:00 p.m. The Dawson Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
