Obituary for Robin L. Moadus

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA – Robin L. Moadus, 66, of East Liverpool passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Robin was born in Steubenville on November 5, 1956 a daughter of the late Robert D. and Martha J. (Starr) Wycoff. She worked her entire career in the banking industry. She started as a bank teller at Potters Bank and worked her way up to vice president operating officer at 1st National Community Bank, from where she retired. Robin assisted her husband in the operation of Hot Shots Bar & Grill in Chester. She always had a smile on her face and always treated people with out right respect. She always worried about other people’s problems over any of her own. Robin enjoyed boating. She enjoyed having lunch and playing golf on Wednesday with the ladies league at the East Liverpool Country Club. Robin also enjoyed watching golf and her favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most importantly Robin loved spending time with her family and friends whom will miss her dearly.

Preceding Robin in death was her brother David Wycoff.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Dave Moadus; son David Moadus II and his wife Stephanie; daughter Kim Morgan and her husband Brian; sister Lauren Fontaine and her husband Dave; three brothers Leonard Wycoff and his wife Lisa, Tom Wycoff and his wife Maria and Greg Wycoff and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Fr. Leo Wehrlin will conduct a service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial at Union Cemetery in New Manchester.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Robin’s memory to FISH 213 W 4th Street, East Liverpool, OH 43920.
