Obituary for Ronald Lee Talbott Sr.
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Ronald Lee Talbott, 80, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his home.
Ronald was born in East Liverpool on October 2, 1940 a son of the late Ervin James and Mabel M. (Snyder) Talbott. He retired as a supervisor from Homer Laughlin. Ronald was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and liked to play golf. He was a member of the American Legion Post #374.
Preceding Ronald in death were his daughter Tina Talbott; brother Marlin “Mart” Talbott and three sisters Kay Rose Cross, Peggy Eckstein and Joanne Talbott.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, whom he married July 3, 1965, JoAnn (Savina) Talbott; two sons Ron L. Talbott, Jr and his wife Karen of East Liverpool and Craig Talbott and his wife Julie of Wellsville; two daughters Marcia Newlin and her husband Richard of East Liverpool and Crystal Pesce and her husband Mike of Franklin, TN; seven grandchildren Jeremy Newlin and his wife Ashley of Wichita, KS, David Talbott of Wellsville, Nicole Deem and her husband Gage of East Liverpool, Zachary Talbott of Columbus, OH, Shane Talbott of East Liverpool, Morgan Talbott of Wellsville and Hannah Newlin of East Liverpool; two great grandchildren Shelby Talbott and Adelynne Newlin; two brothers Ervin Ray Talbott and his wife Carol of East Liverpool and Jerry Talbott and his wife Linda of East Liverpool and two sisters Mary Miller and her husband Harold of Columbiana and Judy Collins of Lisbon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial at Calcutta United Presbyterian Cemetery.
